Nice way to finish off April, with a 5k skins swim, first decent distance in trunks this year. Love the feeling of doing all the work yourself. Also noticed a few crabs on the go, so time to watch your feet in the water. Duckman was saying 9 degrees average. 5k@ 1hr53mins

10k wetsuit swim at Coll beach this morning. Thanks to Craig for coming along for the first lap. Duckman was saying 8.4 degrees on average. Conditions got worse as the laps went on. 10.5k @ 3hrs40mins.
First sea swim of the year at Hogabost on Tuesday evening. Surely one of most beautiful training grounds in the world. Just went in for a little dip. A lot colder than I remember from last year. Great to see Helen Maher and Marine Munro in swimming as well. I will need to get a Duckman like Colin's for the temperature. In at Hogabost again tonight, can't keep away from the place. Another great evening. Swam 1km. Felt much more at home in the water this evening. I will really start ramping the miles up from now on. I have got a lot of catching up to do Colin S, after seeing your post the other day.
