In June 2018, Paul Finnegan & Colin Macleod hope to become the first men to successfully swim the Little Minch Channel between Waternish point and Rodel. In 2010, part-time swimming instructor Eilidh Macdonald, from England, become the first woman to swim the Little Minch between the Scottish islands of Skye and Harris. Her swim back to Harris from Skye took Eilidh nine hours and 33 minutes. This is a time that Colin hopes to beat, while Paul hopes to become the oldest man to complete the crossing. Joining Paul & Colin on their attempt, will be Stuart Baird & Norma Macleod, who plan to relay across the 15 mile channel in 45 minutes bursts, keeping the guys on their toes. Please take the time to donate to either (or both) of the 2 charities that Paul, Colin, Stuart & Norma are fund raising for: Western Isles Community Care Forum & Cancer Research UK. Supporting them will be Sea Lewis and Kilda Cruises, along with kayakers.
